Below is a running list of my past and present projects. Some succeeded, some failed, some are available on github.
PLOS Geolocation
Build a quick tool to figure out where scientific articles on certain topics were being published. It’s not all that revolutionary or fascinating, but does show some interesting trends. Written in Django using the Twitter Bootstrap template. Using geopy for geolocation and memcache to serve the data quickly.
Sportaneous
Leading android development at an early stage fitness startup. Sportaneous is a discovery platform for nearby fitness and health events.
Columbia University Android App
Built a prototype android application to serve as a portal for necessary services needed by Columbia Students. The app was written using the PhoneGap platform heavily relying on jQuery Mobile.
Learn Bones
Created a website that serves as a resource on the human skeletal system. Obviously such resources already exist, but I wanted to create something that was a bit more aesthetic. Launched SEO campaigns to obtain top Google rankings for many keywords. Site serves more than 100,000 users per month, built on WordPress.
Columbia MSA
Built the Columbia MSA website – runs on WordPress.
